Richard L. (“Dick”) Walker (1938-2005) was an astronomer at the U.S. Naval Observatory, first in Washington, D.C., then in Flagstaff, Arizona. A specialist in double stars, Walker was also involved in the search for new Saturnian satellites at the ring-plane passage in 1966.
