Dimitrios Sinachopoulos (1951– ) is an astrophysicist at the National Observatory of Athens who conducts observational and theoretical work on galactic lenses. In 1991 he wrote (with A. Svarna {see planet  (11913)}) The Teachings of Astronomy in Plato’s Republic. He has often helped the discoverer with the treatment of CCD frames. (M 42673) _ _.
