George Lassine (1953-2003) was a member of the Belgian astronomical club Astronomie Centre Ardenne-Neufchâteau. His observations of sunspots have been sent regularly to the Sunspot Index Data Center. A brilliant observer, he was esteemed for his great heart and sense of humor.
