Takahashi Yoshitoki (1764–1804) was chief of the Edo National Astronomical Observatory at Edo, Japan, from 1795 to 1804. He mainly studied positional astronomy, devising a new calendar computation method, “Kansei reki”, with Hazama Shigetomi {see planet (10832)}. (M 46682) _ _.
