Amateur astronomer Marc Ducuroir (1932-2003), secretary of the Société Royale Belge d´Astronomie during 1968-1977, participated in nine eclipse expeditions. His enthusiasm and sense of humor were much appreciated. He built a 0.15-m astrograph, now at the Peiresc Observatory, near St. Hubert, Belgium.
