Edward (Ed) Majden (b. 1939), co-discoverer of two near-earth asteroids, is an amateur astronomer best known for more than 35 years' work recording meteor spectra. An associate member of the Meteorites and Impacts Advisory Committee, he was awarded the 2006 Chant Medal by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
