Everett Gibson (b. 1940), a planetary geochemist at the NASA Johnson Space Center, concentrates on the abundances, distributions and isotopic compositions of the volatile elements in lunar samples and meteorites. He co-led the team that discovered possible relic biogenic activity in the martian meteorite ALH84001.
