Martin Bacháček z Nauměřic (c. 1539–1612) was a Czech mathematician, astronomer and organizer of the education system. From 1603 to 1612 he served as the Rector of Charles University. He was a friend, collaborator and supporter of Johannes Kepler during the latter's time in Prague. Together they observed sunspots and the 1604 supernova.
