Richard (Dick) W. Hunstead (b. 1943) is an Australian astronomer who has spent most of his career in Sydney. His primary research interest is the high-redshift universe, including quasars, high-redshift radio galaxies, clusters of galaxies and giant radio galaxies. He is also renowned as an enthusiastic teacher.
