Christophe Dumas (b. 1968) is a planetary scientist who is an expert in spectral and adaptive optics observations of asteroids and planets. He has made important observations of planetary ring arcs, was co-discoverer of the first asteroid satellite imaged from Earth, and achieved the first images of an exoplanet.
