Peter Kušnirák (b. 1974) is a prolific asteroid photometrist who has worked at Ondřejov since 1999. He is the principal discoverer of two binary asteroids and co-discoverer of several others, using the photometry technique. He is a discoverer or co-discoverer of nearly 300 asteroids. Name suggested by P. Pravec and A. Harris.
