Jean-Eudes Arlot (1948– ) is the current director of the Institut de Mécanique Céleste in Paris and chair of the IAU Commission 20 working group on satellites. He has worked on a theory of the motions of Jupiter’s Galilean satellites and organised international campaigns to observe the mutual phenomena of these bodies. (M 45340) _ _.
