Albert R. Conrad (b. 1953) has been a dedicated adaptive-optics (AO) scientist at several U.S. observatories. Using AO, he has co-discovered many satellites of asteroids and made disk-resolved studies of asteroids and planetary satellites for size/shape/pole and topography. He has developed many innovative AO techniques.
