Zsuzsanna Lorántffy (1602-1660) was a Hungarian aristocrat, the wife of György Rákóczi I, prince of Transylvania. She sponsored several educational institutions, including the Reformed College at Sárospatak. While living in Nagyvárad she ensured that girls were taught to read, write, and do arithmetic.
