József Rippl-Rónai (1861-1927) was a Post-Impressionist avant-garde Hungarian painter, known for working in the Les Nabis style. He first introduced modern artistic movements into Hungarian art. He was also involved in the applied arts, designing glass windows, furniture, chinaware, glasses and gobelins.
