Nico Schmedemann (b. 1978) is a researcher at the Institute of Geological Sciences, Freie Universität in Berlin. He is an expert in the study of cratering chronologies on asteroid and planetary satellite surfaces as a key to establishing timescales for major impact and resurfacing events.
