William “Bill” McDonald (b. 1935) is an avid amateur astronomer. He has volunteered in Lowell Observatory's evening outreach programs since 2012, spearheading the reintroduction of the public program's video observing system (Mallincam) and assisting staff with its upgrade and maintenance.
