Paul Smeyers (b. 1934) is a Belgian astrophysicist and Professor at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He has lectured and transmitted his passion for astrophysics to many students and contributed successfully to the Theory of Non-Radial Stellar Oscillations. Name suggested by P. Lampens and P. Van Cauteren.
