Arthur Miller (1915-2005) was one of the greatest U.S. playwrights. Best known for Death of a Salesman, in which he created the iconic character Willy Loman, he was also a prolific essayist and author. Miller's second marriage (1956--1961) was to screen actress Marilyn Monroe. The name was suggested by E. Bowell.
