Named for a small vocational training institute not far from the discoverer’s home. The main purpose of the institute is to help mentally handicapped people obtain job opportunities and participate positively in various social activities. The name, which means “star village”, was suggested by Youichi Hanaki, an amateur astronomer and one of the institute’s leaders. (M 16042) _ _.
