The name of the KLENOT Project is an abbreviation for the KLEť observatory Near Earth and Other unusual objects observations Team and telescope. The 1.06-m KLENOT Telescope was put into operation in Mar. 2002. The name was suggested by J. Ticha, M. Tichy and M. Kočer, KLENOT staff members.
