Named in honor of Rudol’f Davidovich Furmanov (1938– ), artist, producer and impresario, founder and art manager of the Andrej Mironov {see planet  (3624)} Theater “Russian enterprise” in St. Petersburg, where many of the stars of the Russian theater perform.
