Named in honor of Tsuko Nakamura (1943– ), who studied celestial mechanics in the University of Tokyo’s Department of Astronomy and whose research at the National Astronomical Observatory includes observations of the mutual phenomena of Jupiter’s Galilean satellites and statistical investigations of the long-term orbital behavior of minor planets and comets. His interests also include the study of old Japanese archives for observations of astronomical phenomena. (M 30100) _ _.
