David Healy (b. 1936) established Junk Bond Observatory in Arizona primarily for visual work and recoveries of minor planets. While engaged in this valuable work, JBO has been the site of over 60 new discoveries. A pioneering astrophotographer, Healy was an original contributor to Burnham's Celestial Handbook.
