Michael Morton (1959-1999) was the consummate amateur astronomer, George Observatory volunteer and friend. The continuing success of the George Observatory is directly related to his knowledge, skills, hard work and dedication. Mike was also a beloved member of the Fort Bend Astronomy Club.
