Benjamin P. Weiss (b. 1973) is a professor of planetary Science at MIT. He leads a laboratory for measuring magnetic properties of meteorites, where detection of remnant paleomagnetic fields has implications for the early heating, melting, and differentiation histories of minor-planet parent bodies.
