John B. Dixon (b. 1923) of Hadley, Michigan, and Richard R. Dixon (b. 1927) of Ortonville, Michigan, expended considerable time and effort in transporting observatory domes from Michigan to New Mexico and then in the construction of the structures for Jornada Observatory in New Mexico.
