Though the aspect is not perfect until the wee hours, the entire day is nonetheless colored by retrograde Mars’ conjunction with Ketu, the South Node. As night approaches and then falls, Luna leaps off the scales and onto the back of the Scorpion, which will serve as her steed for the next two days. During the first portion of the night, the Moon opposes destabilizing Uranus in Taurus and sextiles pragmatic Saturn, catalyzing insights and sparking disruptive plans. Late-late night, the Moon squares Mars, just as the red planet and Ketu complete their conjunction, raising the pre-dawn thermostat to uncomfortable heights. _
