Saturn entered Sagittarius on December 23 for a 6 month stay, and will retrograde back into Scorpio from June until September of this year. After September 15, Saturn will settle in Sagittarius for two years, until December 19, 2017. You will likely feel the shift as the New Year begins, which will get you focused in a fresh new direction for personal growth.
Saturn, like all planets (and people), has attributes and downfalls. In astrology, one’s Saturn return, the time when Saturn returns to the same place when one was born, has become a phenomenon in its self. It is a kind of rite of passage into real adulthood, maturity, and wisdom.
As the New Year begins, there may be several aspects of yourself you would like to change, improve upon, or completely revamp. You may want to get more organized, have more fun, manage your money better, or show your softer side to your sweetheart, yet become more assertive at work. The possibilities are endless!
