Marion Gräfin Dönhoff (b. 1909) is a highly esteemed critical German journalist, engaged in problems from the past and present. Her analyses are characterized by objectivity and restraint. Among her honors is the peace prize of the German book trade. The name was independently suggested by L. D. Schmadel.
