Ye Mao (Shiqing, 1231-1322) was a chief executive of Zibei County (now Wenchang City). His name means “luxuriant leaves” in Chinese. Shizu means “earliest ancestor”, and Ye Mao is now recognized as the earliest ancestor of the discoverer.
