Hirohumi Ukawa (b. 1942) mentored many an astronomical amateur and astronomy specialist by the time of his retirement from many years of distinguished services at the Takamatsu Municipal Planetarium. He also acted as the volunteer president of the Astronomical Society of Shikoku during his tenure.
