Alexandr Kuzmich Osipov (1920-2004) was an astronomer at the Astronomical Observatory of Kyiv National University. He was a talented teacher of many generations of students. His interests were wide-ranging, from observations of artificial satellites to studies of the motion and the figure of the moon, planets and comets.
