Italian biologist Edoardo Pozio (b. 1952) directs research at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome and serves as director of the European Commission's Community Reference Laboratory of Parasites. He is author or coauthor or more than 250 papers, most of them in the field of zoonotic parasitic diseases.
