Czech radio astronomer Jaromír Budějický (1919–1991) was head of the Radio Department of the Ondřejov {see planet  (7204)} Observatory in the 1950s. There he conducted a solar radio patrol service and contributed to the development of the Ondřejov meteor radar. (M 42675) _ _.
