The ancient city of Lucca, on the banks of the river Serchio, is the capital of Tuscany. It is in the center of a very fertile valley and is surrounded by hills. On one of these hills there can be found the Monte Agliale Observatory, from which this minor planet was discovered. (M 42675) _ _.
