The observatory at San Polo a Mosciano, a small town near Florence, is operated by the Associazione Astrofili Fiorentini. The first image of this minor planet shows it close to the M1 nebula. This was one of the few observations of minor planets taken at the observatory, which is usually involved in the study of variable stars. (M 42676) _ _.
