Named in honor of Ye Shuhua, well-known Chinese astronomer, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and an unfailing friend of the discoverers. She has contributed to the development of modern Chinese astronomy, is an honorary president of the Chinese Astronomical Society and a vice-president of the IAU (1988–1994). (M 23792) _ _.
