Yeung Chi-hung (1953-2010), an avid stargazer since he was a teenager, was one of the founding members of the Hong Kong Astronomical Society. He impressed others as a gentle scholar with impressive knowledge of astronomy and the natural world, and shared it with both novices and veterans.
