Named for a beautiful sandy beach between Kushirozaki lighthouse and Chiyonoura, in the southern part of Kushiro {see planet  (4096)} City. The second discoverer spent his childhood there. The beach is being eroded and is gradually disappearing. (M 22508) _ _.
