Named in honor of Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Founded in 1838, Acadia U. has become one of Canada’s finest liberal arts institutions. It is located near the Minas Basin, which boasts some of the most dramatic tides on the earth, and it is also located under some of Canada’s darkest night skies. Acadia’s academic excellence and small student population provide a fertile environment for a good undergraduate education. (M 24918) _ _.
