Named in honor of Bryan and Dona Erb, friends of the discoverer. Brian is assistant director of the Canadian Space Agency, Canadian liaison officer to NASA’s Johnson Space Center and assistant program manager for the space station. Dona is a software engineer working on ground control facilities. Both are currently working on the space station.
