Olivier Chesneau (b. 1972) is a French astronomer who has studied circumstellar environments with the ESO VLT Interferometer, from proto-planetary disks to nova envelopes. His pioneering work produced frequent and unique discoveries with a worldwide network of collaborations that he assembled since the early 2000s.
