Attila Mizser (b. 1958) has been one of the leaders of Hungarian amateur astronomy for more than two decades. Long-time leader of the Variable Star Section of the Hungarian Astronomical Association, he has made over 52 000 visual brightness estimates of variable stars. He is also editor-in-chief of Meteor.
