This planet was named by M. F. Wolf after the ocean liner Tabora which was inspected by the participants in a meeting of the Astronomische Gesellschaft in Hamburg in 1913. The discoverer adds that Tabora also was the name of a coastal town in former German East Africa. (H 73; AN 196, 139 (1913)) _ _.
