Hungarian astronomer Antal Wonaszek (1871-1902) was director of the Kiskartal Observatory during 1897-1902. His main field of research was the observation of clouds in Jupiter's atmosphere and the study of irregularities in Saturn's rings. He also made observations of the sun, moon and comets.
