Named in memory of Gulio Briccialdi (1818–1881). Flutist and composer, he became a famous concert musician at the age of 15. He taught in Milan and Vienna and gave concerts in Europe and America. He invented a particular kind of flute and created the musical scales for it. (M 33387) _ _.
