Bill Mason (b. 1932) is an adhesives and corrosion chemist. His research enriched professional and amateur geologists and preserved numerous meteorites, minerals and fossil specimens. He received the Charles H. Sternberg Medal for lifetime achievement in paleontology. The William H. Mason award was created in his honor.
