Olaus Johannis Gutho, from the island of Gotland, was a student at Uppsala {see planet  (2191)} University from 1477 to 1486. His carefully written lecture notes (in seven volumes), the only ones preserved from that time, give good examples of the curricula in those days. (M 39652) _ _.
