Toru Yusa (b. 1966) is director of the planetarium and observatory at the Osaki Lifelong Learning Center in Miyagi Prefecture and a member of the board of directors of the Japan Public Observatory Society. In addition to being a popularizer of astronomy, he is an enthusiastic observer of comets.
